Catherine Robins - Managing Director

Catherine set up 2 Sides TV Ltd in 1995. She has been
responsible for a wide variety of children's and educational
programmes for all the major broadcasters, ranging from the twice BAFTA-nominated wildlife series
'Animal Antics', to the comedy
puppet drama 'Bug Alert',
the animated series 'The Fantastic Flying Journey'
based on Gerald Durrell's celebrated children's book,
and the animated special 'Pumpkin Moon',
which received accolades from press and viewers alike and was compared by The Guardian to the Oscar-winning
'Spirited Away'.

As well as having the role of Executive Producer on the company's productions, Catherine has
also sat on the BAFTA Children's Jury, and has been a speaker at the Edinburgh Television Festival,
The Bristol Animation Festival and the annual Showcomotion Children's Conference. She has also been the Creative
Head of Random House Children's Screen Entertainment.
Prior to forming 2 Sides TV, Catherine spent seven years with Winchester independent, Workhouse Productions,
where she was Head of Production, responsible for producing and directing programmes for broadcast and corporate
clients, including Channel 4's science series 'Equinox', which she also presented.
A graduate in modern languages, she began her career at the BBC, where she produced and directed education
programmes as well as presenting shows for Radio 4, Schools Radio and the World Service.
Sarah McDonnell - Head of Production

Sarah rejoined 2 Sides TV in 2009, after 8 years at home
looking after her 3 children. Since her return she has worked as Producer on 'Design Challenge' for BBC
Learning and as Production Manager on the English and Welsh versions of 'Seaside Antics' for Five and
S4C and 'BallooniVille' for Cartoonito. When she first joined the company, she worked as Line Producer on
'The
Fantastic Flying Journey' for CITV, as Production Manager on
'Little Antics' and the third
series of 'Bug
Alert' and as Production Co-ordinator on 'The Big Spot'.

Prior to joining 2 Sides she was at Focus
International Television, where she worked with the Director of Programmes on developing proposals.
Her first job as a Drama graduate was with Joy Whitby at Grasshopper Productions, where she marketed
their slate of children's animations and production managed a series of family concerts.
